The 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards is one of the most fashionable fetes of the year, in this star studded event you can always find A-List hollywood stars and fashion icons in designers’ gowns. This year there was a special tribute being made to the late designer Alexander McQueen, and so in the memory of this fantastic desinger, the Sex and the City star and also Alexander McQueen’s good friend Sarah Jessica Parker appeared in a pink and purple printed gown from  Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2010 collection in the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards , as the presenter of DA Board of Directors’ Special Tribute Award’ to the late designer.

Again, the sweet Sarah Jessica Parker did a wonderful honor and respect to Alexander McQueen in wearing his label in such a remarkable fashion event.  The color and prints is ctually quite hard to carry well but the it matches SJP’s style and she looked good with semi all back hair style, jeweled earrings, stack of chunky bracelets and a grey little handbag.

Sarah Jessica Parker was rocking 3 different style of glamours dresses on the red carpet of Sex and the City 2 Premiere in New York, London and Tokyo! As Sarah Jesscia Parker implies ”You can’t hang your hat on fashion forever” , I do agree with Parker that the success of SATC isn’t just about the clothes, but too bad that fashion on SJP in movie premiere is definitely a talking point for most of us before watching it in the cinema!

Back on Sarah Jessica parker’s fashion, actually those 3 outfits are fantastic. Among the threes,  the Alexander McQueen 200 Spring lace bustier gown  in London Premiere, and the Vivenne Westwood 2010 Fall floral dress In Tokyo Premiere are very Carrie-esqe especially with dramatic and daring style like voluminous skirt, carrie’s style hair bun, glaring hat and accessories!

I like SJP especially opted for the Alexander McQueen 200 Spring lace bustier gown and McQ laced pump in London Premiere to deliver her tribute to her designer friend. But I adore the Vivenne Westwood 2010 Fall floral dress with Alexander McQueen skull clasp clutch in Tokyo Premiere cos it the most Carrie-esqe!

When the monotone striped items become the hot and key fashion item for spring and summer 2010, which means you can see it everywhere, but what can you do to color up and look chic and out standing with those striped clothing, perhaps you can find more ideas on Kate Moss, or go with your fashion instinct and do the color matching instead! Cos in fact when I saw the picture of Kate Moss wearing piped Chanel 2010 resort red jacket and striped top in Paris last week, I smiled and told myself ” wow, I did dress like Kate Moss in a month ago!”, while back in February when I spent the Valentine’s Day and CNY in New York, I already did the same matching , piped red jacket with striped skirt from Topshop, matched with Alexander McQueen Lips top and over knee boots, to show you how I did the matching, I included my style look at  MET in New York City in the picture above, well any comments are well accepted of course and I hope my readers also like my style as much as they like Kate Moss’s style!

So next time when you put on the striped top or skirt or pants , try to ditch the usual and dull black or dark color matching, give a warm touch on your outfit with the color like red, orange, pink …. make yourself colorfully chic and go with your indistinct! Cos sometimes you can really dress like stars without extra style tips!

The gorgeous couples Victoria Beckham and David Beckham were spotted out at La Risacca restaurant for dinner in downtown Milan few days ago (March 9). Whenever and wherever Victoria goes, she is alway in style, especially when she is with her husband. However, it was such a surprise that this time she wasn’t wearing dress from her own designing collection.

This eye catchy impactful statement dress on Victoria Beckham is from Alexander McQueen Resort 2009, with fine optical black and white stirp prints and structred shoulders. This Alexander McQueen striped column dress (Net-A-Porter US site $695)  is  another figure hugging style dress that Victoria always in love with. Completed her look with Miu Miu Whipstitch patent pumps (Net-A-Porter US site $1,595) and black headband for her pixie hair, Victoria looks wonderful !

Personally I love this Alexander McQueen dress as the optical print form impactful effect which allows the fashion piece to enhance the body curves perfectly! Tho’ I have doubt about the come back of shoulder pads on fashion items, this one on the Alexander McQueen is just right and not as over-do as  in Balmain collection! I also love the Miu Miu pumps with stitches on the heels!

Something great about hollywood stars is that even when they are out just to run some errands, they still dress in style and do fashion play! Lindsay Lohan is a good example! Maybe Ms Lohan gets too much attention all the time from the paparazzi, so this smart lady doesn’t get lazy and always be prepared to be papped in style!

Last month Lindsay Lohan has spotted dressing in style when she was out to run some errands in West Hollywood side! My dear readers if you have read my fashion post before , you must know that I am fallen for studded fashion style, and this studded white lapel leather jacket from Balmain on Lindsay Lohan is definitely on my favorite list!

Lindsay matched the Balmain studded leather jacket with Alexander Wang marble silk tank top from Alexander Wang Spring 2009 Collection. To rock up the style, Lindsay put on over sized aviators , grey skinny jeans and black bootie. I seldom talk about Lindsay ‘s fashion style but this one is very impressive and I love the Balmain studded jacket so much.

LiLo recently alluded to the fact that she would be involved in lots of fashion clothing by 2011, perhaps charting a new course for her career.

The white Balmain studded lapel leather jacket ( Luisaviaroma €3,276) and Alexander Wang marble silk tank top ( Net A Porter £175 ) are both available online.
