The gorgeous couples Victoria Beckham and David Beckham were spotted out at La Risacca restaurant for dinner in downtown Milan few days ago (March 9). Whenever and wherever Victoria goes, she is alway in style, especially when she is with her husband. However, it was such a surprise that this time she wasn’t wearing dress from her own designing collection.

This eye catchy impactful statement dress on Victoria Beckham is from Alexander McQueen Resort 2009, with fine optical black and white stirp prints and structred shoulders. This Alexander McQueen striped column dress (Net-A-Porter US site $695)  is  another figure hugging style dress that Victoria always in love with. Completed her look with Miu Miu Whipstitch patent pumps (Net-A-Porter US site $1,595) and black headband for her pixie hair, Victoria looks wonderful !

Personally I love this Alexander McQueen dress as the optical print form impactful effect which allows the fashion piece to enhance the body curves perfectly! Tho’ I have doubt about the come back of shoulder pads on fashion items, this one on the Alexander McQueen is just right and not as over-do as  in Balmain collection! I also love the Miu Miu pumps with stitches on the heels!

Couture 2009 runway show started and we can see all stars are showing off the latest couture fashion everywhere. Take Mischa Barton as an example, Mischa Barton was wearing an exquisite Elie Saab couture mint green gown with floral appliqués at the Fashion Dinner for Aids in Paris (Jan 30)

This gown was presented 2 days ago in Elie Saab Couture 2009 show and Mischa is the the first celeb wearing it.

The floral appliqués around the shoulders and bodice adds a touch of romance and fairy-tale element on the gown, along with single shoulder trend ( which Mischa did), which these two styles are the hottest fashion element for 2009 Spring and Summer fashion trend. One thing that Mischa Barton did very well is that she has taken this dress from an off-the-shoulder gown, to an asymmetric gown, with her own interpretation of asymmetric goddess sensation, accessorized with her own designed hair wear ( seems she made a little variation of her favorite gold leaf-shaped head band), she glows all the way and must be voted as the best dressed celeb this week.

I can’t wait to see the celebrities couture show on the Oscar Academy Awards’s Red Carpet! I will wait and see if any celebs make a come back of this Elie Saab gown on the Red Carpet and who’s gonna follow or beat Mischa Barton ‘s style and interpretation!

In the thanksgiving night, New York City Ballet’s opening night gala in Lincoln Center was packed with well dressed ballet lovers and celebrities like Scott Whitman and Valentino Garavani. Instead of standard red carpet gown, a LBD with sparkling details that Sarah Jessica Parker chose is a marvelous choice that made her glow in the crowd and wowed the audience before the show started.

The sparkling sequin-smothered sheaths on Sarah Jessica Parker is from Balmain 2009 Spring Collection. This little black dress, added with rock-chic element that brought freshness and break the original evening gown style, yet appropriate in such a black-tie event, is a fabulous choice to repersent SJP’s chic and focal dressing style, in fact I think I kind of see Carrie Bradshaw‘s style again on Sarch Jessica with that Balmain sequin-smothered LBD. How about the shoes!? Every time when we talk about SJP or Carrie, we always talk about shoes!  This time Sarah Jessica made the futuristic call again by wearing the same Balenciaga point sliver shiny booties, and to finish the whole look, she opted for a very simple ballerina hair by pulling all her hair back to match the theme of this event!

Personally I love her outstanding choice on picking this Balmain LDB, and her sweet idea to match her hair style with the ballerina. Just one thing that may not get applause by some people is that the pull-back hair style may ruin the standard Carrie Bradshaw‘s breezy hair that we always miss! Agree?
