I got myself a little piece of Chanel jewelry before New Year – is a Chanel brooch with pearl details from 2011 spring and summer collection. Usually girls opt for Chanel earrings or Chanel necklaces other then Chanel brooch, haha same same  I was planning to get Chanel earrings  before I went to the shop ,but when I saw the brooch in glass drawer I couldn’t help myself but to bought this beautiful Chanel brooch home. To be honest with you, I have lots accessories like earrings and necklace but I don’t have many brooches cos I think brooch is not a versatile fashionable accessory that is easy to wear. But guess what, brooches in fact can turnaround your outfit and brighten up your ordinary dull color jackets, striking the same effect with a statement necklace!

One cold Sunday afternoon, I matched the Marc Jacobs military jacket with my new Chanel pearl brooch and another military style brooch from Accessorize, style up with the Lanvin happy bag, H&M leather pants and leopard shoes, when scarf will cover your statement necklace, wearing brooches give a surprise touch on my oliver dull color Marc Jacobs jacket! As I am “non brooch” person , it was an out of the blue fashion match in cold shopping day, but I felt good trying something new on my outfit!

Well the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival just ended and lots more music festivals and concerts are coming this summer, if you missed the chance to participate the H&M Coachella Twitter contest and enjoyed yourself in the Coachella, then surely you would not want to miss the launch of  H&M Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) Spring collection in May 20th 2010!

This is the third H&M Fashion Against AIDS 2010 collection and the FAA collection this year is more than celebrities endorsed T-shirt designs, it consists of stylish and hippic-chic fashion pieces with easy and edgy vibe with full-on artsy appeal . As the first festival collection, it connotes the global trend and message of freedom of expression and shared experiences. Festivals are an escape from the real world, where fashion can really come to the fore. It ‘s built to mix and match –  a mix of rock with bohemia and glamour with added ethnic touches. Denim hotpants or patterned leggings are matched with embellished tunic tops, while maxi-dresses are toughened up when worn with leather jackets. I love the denim dress (USD 34.95) and the fringed tops (USD 29.95) most and the embellished jackets (USD 99.00)  and the leopard printed tunic (USD 24.95) are also on my wanted list! Too bad some of the items like the sleeping bag and camping tent would not be sold in Hong Kong, so girls if you wanna get your favorite items, check out the catalog from your local H&M store first!
