Though Lauren Conrad placed a temporary break on her clothing line Lauren Conrad collection due to economic recession, and shifted her focus on launching her new book “L.A. Candyâ€� , but that doesn’t mean Lauren is taking a break to stay trendy and fashionable. This blonde and ambitious in fact actively appears on red carpets and recently she did a Harper’s Bazaar shoot in West Hollywood (June 12) dressed in Moschino Fall 2009 jacket with silver embroidery, matched with her sun-kissed summer tanned skin and her all time favorite Chanel chained bag. Lauren also tried something new to surprise us – a brunette bob wig to bring out a freshness style! She really looked like another person indeed !

Rewind back to a week ago, When Lauren showed up on the red carpet of MTV Movie Awards 2009, Lauren also opted for a Moschino dress with red velvet flower appliqués with ruffles at the bottom trim which is also from Moschino Fall 2009 collection.

Seems Lauren loves Moschino very much and from what I see recently about her fashion choice, it looks like Lauren Conrad is more for the elegant classy mature style which may help to project her new image as an author / writer other than reality sweetheart! Personally I am expecting some summer fashion on this LA candy, cos isn’t too early to show off your autumn fashion trend in such lovely sunny summer?

Lauren looked stunning and radiant in a multicolored sequined dress from 3.1 Philip Lim Resort 2009 Collection, she finished her look with messy waves new hairdo, red lipstick and she otped for her favorite shoes wear Christian Louboutin peep-toe in metallic color.

Besides her showstopping sequin dress from 3.1 Philip Lim Resort 2009 Collection, The red stick that she carried off is in fact the hotttest makeup trend in 2008 Fall! I must say I love Lauren Conrad with red lipstick and in frank not many celebrities can carry off cos some look like a cown! That bright lipstick is perfect for Lauren as she can deliver “sweet and sexy” in red lips!

Giving up her usual long wavey hair log, Lauren opted for a short wave new hairdo that brought out a sense of freshness, yet sexy and sweet just like “Roxy” ( in the movie “Chicago”) ! However, I would give more credits on her whole look if she accessorized the stunning sequined dress with a belt! Lauren Conrad was on Late Show with David Letterman last week ( Oct 27 ) and she putted on a simple and stylish outfit: a Alice + Olivia navy wide-leg trousers and Mike & Chris cropped leather jacket, white raffle top, her always favorite Chanel bag and Black Delic Christian Louboutin( Barneys New York ).To make the outfit standout, Lauren picked a studded belt which is the exact same Patricia Field’ s studded belt that Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore in Sex and the City Movie!!

This is the second time in 2008 that Lauren Conrad showed up in David Letterman’s Late Show. In the show She also talked about her rounded necklace ( designed for charity purpose ), her fashion line and her up-coming plan of publishing books!!! Best friend Lauren “Lo” Bosworth even wore the Lauren’s spring collection in the show to support her friend! While Lauren picked two black dresses in maxi length (a strapless one in the finale) with a black and gold headband (recent popular hair accessory!) to bring out a feminine goddess image on her fashion runway.
