When temperature is still dropping and  global warming is hitting us, on the other hand to some fashion lovers especially celebrites, it is great time to put their the statement winter coat on another level – yes it’s time to put on the fur (faux) in icy cold winter!

If you are doing Christmas or New Year shopping, you can find different kinds of fur (faux) items everywhere , so as on celebrities! From the Isabel Marant Fall 2009 fur coat on Victoria Beckham, to fur gilets on Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian and Fergie, these fashionable celebrities opt for different style of fur coat or jackets to keep the chilly days warm and stylish! But among all, model Pixie Geldof ’s Eskimo look with weavy giant grey  fur is definitely making a winter fashion statement!

I am sorry that if you are anti- fur and animal lover, then guess this fashion post may upset you… While fashion lovers you may also wanna know that fur fashion is popular in 2009 Fall which Viktor & Rolf, Antonio Berardi, Jean Paul Gaultier, Isabel Marant and Yigal Azrouël are featuring fur items on the runways… and to me no matter what kind of people we are, guess we all hope that the weather will get a bit warmer soon, though the fur items look nice, who would like to stay in such chilly weather for long…right?

Mischa Barton adopted a Boho look at the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT’s) Gift of Life IX Fundraising Charity Ball at the Intercontinental Hotel on Saturday in London, England. She puts on a purple leaf shaped headband which is the signature item of bohemian style. Celebrities like Nicole Richie and Mary-Kate Olsen who are boho style lovers tried the headband boho style before and the most significant one should be Nicole Richie recent appearence in sparkling rhinestone hippie headband in the Marc Jacobs 2009 Spring and Summer fashion show at New York Fashion Week.

Noted that besides the light gray chiffon long dress, Mischa’s make up is also in Boho style, which consists of smudged smoky eye-makeup and beige lips color as the key element. However, compare with the make-up that Nicole Richie have in the same boho style, Mischa Barton’s one seems to be too heavy. Anyways, for Bohemian style lovers , would this hair gear and accessory add more glam to the whole outfit? Personally I just like the leaf shaped headband because of its purple color but I doubt whether it is a very fabulous boho look in a whole. Nicole Richie celebrited and congratulated designer Donna Karan in the DKNY’s 20th anniversary show in the tents of Bryant Park on Sunday September 7th.

Nicole Richie is putting on a DKNY bright blues stripes vest, a sporty parachute dress and adopted the Pierre Hardy black gladiator sandals instead of the high-heeled sneakers, which is one of the trend in DKNY 2009 spring collection. Nicole just looked fabulous in those outfit, giving a simple, stylish and girly feeling, added a sense femininity with her strapped Pierre Hardy sandals and with her hair in a bun. This look is so different from her usual Boho style and successfully showing out a fresh breezy feelings to surprise us.

Actually the Bohemian style has been there around in the celebrity circle for a while. Most say that it is Kate Moss who brought it up first and then Sienna Miller make it popular cos she got more publicity….. well I don’t think it’s a huge matter cos what matters is who can carry this Boho style in a nice way, right?!? So after the two British fashionstas showing off the Boho style, many hollywood stars follow and create their Boho style. (Notice that thier Boho style have some common elements: Studded belt, bags or shoes, Fringed clothing and accessories, embroidery and paisley prints and bed hair!!)

Since Bohemian style is one of the hottest trend in 2008 Autumn-Fall fashion, so let’s take of review of how celebrities dress in Boho!
