I was quite surprised that after I dress up with the Matthew Williamson For H&M studded belt last friday night at the NBA launch Party in Hong Kong on April 24th, few days later on April 28th, Mary-Kate Olsen opted for the same choice at H&M Launch of the Matthew Williamson 2009 Spring Collection!

Mary-Kate also carried the same pick – the Matthew Williamson For H&M blue studded belt with one-shoulder asymmetrical dress!!!  Just that I love her style as she gives in her playful side by tigting up her  hair a bit and wearing a loose jacket in girly candy purple color to finish her look! Unlike her signature hippie sometimes quirky style, it ’s a fresh look that combined rock chic and candy pop color fashion together , a style that we can’t really find it on Mary-Kate in usual days.

However, there is one thing on Mary-Kate which is very disconnected with whole look  —– YES, it is her purse!!! It looks like a fancy printed tropical bag to me but then it has the resort summer feel that I would bring it to the beach. Frankly the printed tropical bag doesn’t match the rock chic style or a candy pop color fashion on Mary-Kate! I guess most of you would have the same thought like mine :” Mary-Kate, where is your Alexander Wang studded bag ?? ”

Anyways, besides the Mary-Kate Olsen’s new favorite Alexander Wang studded bag, I think among all fashion pieces in the Matthew Williamson For H&M collection, the blue studded belt is the fashion item that we love! Agree??

After a series of black-tie red carpet events in elegant evening gowns, Rihanna returned back to her customary “Rock-chic” fashion style and her boldest fashion statement at Z100’s Annual Jingle Ball Concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City last Friday night.

That night , Rihanna opted for the bad girl image again and pulled off a figure hugging black mini leather single-shouder dress. The special thing about this dress is that it was zipped on the sides and the shoulder parts, perked up with crystal belt and zipped gloves which was left upzipped so that Rihanna can showed off her chic yellow smilie face patterned nails. To complete the rock -chic bad girl style, Rihanna accesorizied with studded earrings, chunky studded black and white bracelet and black ankle booties! The combination of staple single-shoulder style with the smash hit leather element, plus the studded accessories and zipped detials which represents this fall smash hit hard rock and punk style!!!

She performed at the event along with boyfriend Chris Brown, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, GaGa, David Archuleta and others. See how sweet Rihanna and her  “With You” boyfriend Chris Brown were on the stage.

Rihanna and fother celebrities like “Material Girl” trendsetter Madonna, Gossip Girl” Blake Lively and “Entourage” Adrian Grenier gather at the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection Launch and Gucci’s swanky dinner at the Plaza Hotel on November 19, 2008.

Rihanna was stunning in Gucci Spring 2008 Lavender gown with matched color pearly ornament on the dress and gold bracletes which is all from Gucci. Earlier in that evening, Rihanna also stopped by for lighting up the big holiday Snowflake along with Gucci creative director Frida Giannini at the UNICEF Snowflake Lighting Ceremony. Again as I reported in the previous post, Rihanna showed off the Gucci Pre-Fall black oversize check wool coat. Rihanna is really a support and wonderful lovely spokeperosn of Gucci as the same night she showed three different Gucci Clothings from Pre-Fall 2008 collection to Spring 2009 Collection.

Actually the combination of that Gucci lavender gown and ornaments with strappy heels revealed a very feminine side of Rihanna and created and modern chic goddess image on Rihanna! Love the dress and Rihanna rocks it!

Rihanna dressed up from head to toe in Gucci outfit for the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection Launch and the UNICEF Snowflake Lighting Ceremony! She was first appeared in Gucci Pre-Fall Black oversize Check Wool Coat with leather buckle detail, leather gloves and Gucci 2008 Fall bracelets accessories. Then later when she stepped on the red carpet, she took off the Gucci black oversize check coat and showed off the Gucci one-shoulder orange or red tomato dress. Seems she tends to choose orange or red tomato as her clothing color in recently in red carpet or black tie event. ( Last time she opted for a red tomato dress in the 2008 Spirit of Life Award dinner! )

Finally the 2008 Gucci Camaign to Benefit UNICEF is launched and Rihanna is the spoke person of the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection, which launched worldwide today! This “Umbrella” fashionista really knows how to use her stylish image and star influnence on charity benefit! No sure if Rihanna ’s fashion impact will boost sales for Gucci in such a harsh recession time. But every purchase you made from the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection, Gucci will donate 25% of the sale to UNICEF programs for orphans and children effected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. So it isn’t that bad to buy and dress like stars whist do charity at the same time!

Kate Beckinsale and Padma Lakshmi are both smart and talented beauties. When it comes to fashion, both gorgeous ladies seems to have the same kind of choice – A mixture of one-shoulder fashion trend and Grecian Goddess style.

Kate Beckinsale attended ELLE’s Magazine 15th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute earlier in October, she was stunning in Derek Lam one-shoulder white gown from Derek Lam Spring 2009 collection, and accessorized her goddess look with elegant Jimmy Choo clutch and gold long earrings, creating a very classic Grecian goddess look! While the Indian beauty Padma Lakshmithe showed up in “Keep a Child Alive 5th Annual Black Ball” (November 13) with a slightly different Grecian goddess style! The same thing is she opted a Naeen Khan white one-shoulder gown from Naeen Khan Spring 2009 collection, but matched up the beautiful gown with Indian style jeweled necklace and gold bracelets which add an extra ethic style on the whole outfit! Both gorgeous keep their hair style simple and successfully projected a Grecian goddess image that can take your breath away!

Interesting is that the one-shoulder trend still keep its way to go in Spring 2009 fashion (since summer 2008), but with the mixture of Grecian goddess style and gold accessories as polish can definitely add more femininity to the whole look!
