Haven’t talked about Rihanna’s style and fashion for a while …… But when it comes to her distinctive rock and chic style, along with one of my favorite design collection Preen and “shoes”, nothing can stop me to blog about this (tho’ I am exhausted with work) !  Rihanna shines all the way when attending the Verizon & BlackBerry Grammy Party at Boulevard 3 in LA last Friday, with a stylish electric blue Preen Dress, it is in prefect silhouette to show Rihanna curvey lines! Rihanna was absolutely gorgeous with this Preen electric blue body-con halter dress. Rihanna glamed up the pretty Preen dress with sparkling choker jewels, brunch of bangles which is the hottest accessories trend for Spring and Summer 2009!

How about shoes? This smart fashiontastic never misses her chance to show off her own rock chic style, she can also find a way to do that and for this Preen outfit, the “take a bow” sweetheart Rihanna puts on a pair of pretty eye catchy Rodarte high strappy platform heels. Actually this platform heels were designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Spring Collection 2009, composed of a mélange of materials – with white, blue and black leather straps and metal chains on the platforms heels , this futuristic great looking shoes are just prefect to jazz up Rihanna’s style!

Maybe it is  a huge surprise but this year Golden Globe the best dressed dazzling red carpet beauty is Olivia Wilde! Yes, if you see her beautiful dress, then you would agree with me. Olivia Wilde opted for a flouncing ruffles in lavender sleek strapless evening gown from Reem Acra. This Reem Acra gown in lavender color and sleek ruffles creates an ultimate sense of romantic fairy-tale feeling which is also one of the key trend in Spring and Summer 2009 fashion trend. This is such a stopwatching extremely gorgeous and stunning dress of the night and Olivia carried off in style!

Tho’ the Reem Acra gown is very elegant, Olivia finished her look with Jimmy Choo Metallic sandals with straps which brings an exordinary mix and match with such romantic dressing. Somehow this combination turns Olivia into moden Cinderella!

A little piece of fact is that actually Beyonce has wore the same Reem Acra gown ( in black) at the the 40 Principales Awards in Madrid. In the thanksgiving night, New York City Ballet’s opening night gala in Lincoln Center was packed with well dressed ballet lovers and celebrities like Scott Whitman and Valentino Garavani. Instead of standard red carpet gown, a LBD with sparkling details that Sarah Jessica Parker chose is a marvelous choice that made her glow in the crowd and wowed the audience before the show started.

The sparkling sequin-smothered sheaths on Sarah Jessica Parker is from Balmain 2009 Spring Collection. This little black dress, added with rock-chic element that brought freshness and break the original evening gown style, yet appropriate in such a black-tie event, is a fabulous choice to repersent SJP’s chic and focal dressing style, in fact I think I kind of see Carrie Bradshaw’s style again on Sarch Jessica with that Balmain sequin-smothered LBD. How about the shoes!? Every time when we talk about SJP or Carrie, we always talk about shoes!  This time Sarah Jessica made the futuristic call again by wearing the same Balenciaga point sliver shiny booties, and to finish the whole look, she opted for a very simple ballerina hair by pulling all her hair back to match the theme of this event!

Personally I love her outstanding choice on picking this Balmain LDB, and her sweet idea to match her hair style with the ballerina. Just one thing that may not get applause by some people is that the pull-back hair style may ruin the standard Carrie Bradshaw’s breezy hair that we always miss! Agree?

Hilary Duff dressed herself in style even when she went for a monring workout with her personal trainer Harley Pasternask’s house in West Hollywood on Tuesday (October 14). We can fin she is wearing Simeon Farrar exclusive hand printed crinkle scarf ($235), this year hottest Minnetonka fringe boho style boot ($95) , a studded bag and some accessories. Mischa Barton was chic and stylish in every London Fashion Week appearance! Mischa almost put on the most trendy items for the Fall season 08-09 in a Samsung function -“The Red Thread: The Inspiration and Passion of Valentino Garavani” as part of London Fashion Week. You can find a chic leopard style on Mischa as she was wearing a leopard vest and shoes, perking this leopard style up with the hot chic studded accessories including the Chanel studded bag, Temperley London studded belt and studded bracelets! Not to mention her favorite headband look, this time Mischa chose a rhinestone headband which is a bit similar with the one that Nicole Richie put on in Marc Jacob Fashion Show at New York Fashion Week. Maybe you may that she is “style items” overloaded, but I just think Mischa did it great by adding some chic and rock element in this wild leopard style, while remain a girlie sense by matching the leopard items with a jeans skirt.
