Haven’t talked about Rihanna’s style and fashion for a while …… But when it comes to her distinctive rock and chic style, along with one of my favorite design collection Preen and “shoes”, nothing can stop me to blog about this (tho’ I am exhausted with work) !  Rihanna shines all the way when attending the Verizon & BlackBerry Grammy Party at Boulevard 3 in LA last Friday, with a stylish electric blue Preen Dress, it is in prefect silhouette to show Rihanna curvey lines! Rihanna was absolutely gorgeous with this Preen electric blue body-con halter dress. Rihanna glamed up the pretty Preen dress with sparkling choker jewels, brunch of bangles which is the hottest accessories trend for Spring and Summer 2009!

How about shoes? This smart fashiontastic never misses her chance to show off her own rock chic style, she can also find a way to do that and for this Preen outfit, the “take a bow” sweetheart Rihanna puts on a pair of pretty eye catchy Rodarte high strappy platform heels. Actually this platform heels were designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Spring Collection 2009, composed of a mélange of materials – with white, blue and black leather straps and metal chains on the platforms heels , this futuristic great looking shoes are just prefect to jazz up Rihanna’s style!

Couture 2009 runway show started and we can see all stars are showing off the latest couture fashion everywhere. Take Mischa Barton as an example, Mischa Barton was wearing an exquisite Elie Saab couture mint green gown with floral appliqués at the Fashion Dinner for Aids in Paris (Jan 30)

This gown was presented 2 days ago in Elie Saab Couture 2009 show and Mischa is the the first celeb wearing it.

The floral appliqués around the shoulders and bodice adds a touch of romance and fairy-tale element on the gown, along with single shoulder trend ( which Mischa did), which these two styles are the hottest fashion element for 2009 Spring and Summer fashion trend. One thing that Mischa Barton did very well is that she has taken this dress from an off-the-shoulder gown, to an asymmetric gown, with her own interpretation of asymmetric goddess sensation, accessorized with her own designed hair wear ( seems she made a little variation of her favorite gold leaf-shaped head band), she glows all the way and must be voted as the best dressed celeb this week.

I can’t wait to see the celebrities couture show on the Oscar Academy Awards’s Red Carpet! I will wait and see if any celebs make a come back of this Elie Saab gown on the Red Carpet and who’s gonna follow or beat Mischa Barton ‘s style and interpretation!

Another Golden Globe dazzling beauty that I have to talk about is Jennifer Lopez. At the Golden Globe night, JLo turned into golden goddess and she looked absolutely stunning and beautiful. This eye-catching sexy low-cut evening gown on JLo is from Marchesa Spring 2009 Collection and with simple accessories, makeup and hairdo, JLo already shines and glow with her curvy body figure. This goddess-like dress is just right and prefect for JLo and I really like her pull-back hair style, providing a sense of elegancy and femininity matched with the whole look. This dazzling sexy Marchesa evening gown is unlike those formal barbie doll like evening gowns that are too ordinary!

Noticed that gold is one of the hot color that celebs opted for on Golden Globe Red carpet , celebs like Megan Fox was also carrying off a gold Ralph Lauren evening gown but Ms. Megan failed to beat the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet!

Maybe it is  a huge surprise but this year Golden Globe the best dressed dazzling red carpet beauty is Olivia Wilde! Yes, if you see her beautiful dress, then you would agree with me. Olivia Wilde opted for a flouncing ruffles in lavender sleek strapless evening gown from Reem Acra. This Reem Acra gown in lavender color and sleek ruffles creates an ultimate sense of romantic fairy-tale feeling which is also one of the key trend in Spring and Summer 2009 fashion trend. This is such a stopwatching extremely gorgeous and stunning dress of the night and Olivia carried off in style!

Tho’ the Reem Acra gown is very elegant, Olivia finished her look with Jimmy Choo Metallic sandals with straps which brings an exordinary mix and match with such romantic dressing. Somehow this combination turns Olivia into moden Cinderella!

A little piece of fact is that actually Beyonce has wore the same Reem Acra gown ( in black) at the the 40 Principales Awards in Madrid. While waiting for the Hollywood beauties walking down on the red carpet in stunning stylish gowns on the 66th Annual Golden Globes night, let’s review some of the fashionable eye catchy moment on the Golden Globes nominees this week.

For sure Anne Hathaway is one of the fashionable star beauties that always shines and rocks on the red carpet. Anne was absolutely gorgeous and breath-taking in a black strapless corseted dress with crystal embellishment from Balmain Spring 2009 collection, at the 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in Palm Springs ( Jan 7 ). The Balmain strapless dress on Anne Hathaway had a mesh midriff with crystallized embellishment and I have to say Anne looks a way more better in Balmain dress than other celeb beauties. Tho’ Anne doesn’t receive general credits on her fashion statement these days, personally I think Anne Hathaway’s fashion statement keeps out-standing since 2009 started, especially when she delivered the fashion-play and turned herself into the masculine dressing at the Bride Wars New York premiere, dressed as the groom of Kate Hudson the bride, this time Anne opted for this starpless corseted Balmain dress is defintely making a come-back on style!

Anne Hathaway was amazingly beautiful with extension free casual wavey hairdo, classic red lips and accessorized with Cartier jewelery and black Christian Louboutin Altadama Astrakhan platforms. Again, she fitted perfectly in the Balmain strapless corset dress.
