It has been quite a long while I haven’t updated my fashion blog Dress Like Starz. So what have I been doing? Well besides the daily hectic work at she.com ( currently one of  top female online network that I am working for in Hong Kong) , I have done my crazy Christmas shopping in October and Novemeber, including lots online shopping on shopbop,  Topshop and ASOS, not to mention shopping for the fashionista to-die-for fashion item – LANVIN for H&M. So my dear readers please stay tune cos I will be bringing you my “Look of the Day” more often!

Last month I was hosting MOSCHINO Toujours Glamour perfume launch event and I made a toujours glamour look for myself , it was more like a rock and chic style that played an echo with the celebrity guest G.E.M. Among all items I really love the Gamlila Skovgaard chained heels as they are pretty but surprisingly comfortable! Also the crystals on Topshop Diamante Ruch Bandeau Dress matches the navy blue perfectly and it reminds me of  Vincent Van Gogh “Starry Night”.

Perhaps it can be one of the Christmas party dressing style you can have for out shining in the festive holiday! What do you think?

First this hot-off-the runway fashion on Rihanna comes with the Alexander Wang striped cropped cotton T-shirt, which differed from all ordinary black and white striped tops, I like this Alexander Wang striped top so much as the light gray and red strips with perforate details brings out the urban chic style! Then goes with J Brand Houlihan skinny cargo pants, which is the popular and edgy Hollywood celebrities and stars must-have fashion items in their closets! Last, paired the stars’ favorite skinny cargo pants with Louboutin Leopard Pigalle 100 pumps and a chained necklace to finish the urban rock chic style. Lovely !

So who says it’s fashion crime to put all trendy stuff together, huh? Rihanna shows that you can! However, it would be even better if the fashion queen can show more abs with the chopped t-shirt to elevate the sexiness on Rhianna.  This Rihanna outfits would be your trendy high fashion causal shopping wear and LSandra would give 4 stars for this Rihanna style! Another stunning fashion beauty at the MTV is stylista Sienna Miller! Since Sienna reinvented boho, Sienna Miller is always under fashion spotlight , this blonde and ambitious even co-designs her own fashion label Twenty8Twelve with her elder sister Savannah.

Just like Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller dressed in her own fashion label for making a statement and promoting her brands at MTV Movie Awards 2009, which is a clever act as I  am so sure after that more and more people know about her brand and can definitely boost sales!

Talking about the  green Swarovski-encrusted dress on Sienna, which is from her Twenty8Twelve Fall 2009 collection. is the kind of showing off your back party dress that I like very much recently, tho’ green is really not my color! The not exaggerated Balmain-esque shoulders and the backless dress cutting impresses me most and a a combination of hip and glamours fashion pieces. Sienna successfully delivered the contemporary chic style and complete her look with a sliver Chanel clutch and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Only one thing that I would not give credits is that isn’t this Twenty8Twelve Fall 2009 materpiece  so alike the green crystal sequined dress from Balmain Spring 2009 Collection ? It seems the Miller sister should have known that there are still rooms for creativity!

I was quite surprised that after I dress up with the Matthew Williamson For H&M studded belt last friday night at the NBA launch Party in Hong Kong on April 24th, few days later on April 28th, Mary-Kate Olsen opted for the same choice at H&M Launch of the Matthew Williamson 2009 Spring Collection!

Mary-Kate also carried the same pick – the Matthew Williamson For H&M blue studded belt with one-shoulder asymmetrical dress!!!  Just that I love her style as she gives in her playful side by tigting up her  hair a bit and wearing a loose jacket in girly candy purple color to finish her look! Unlike her signature hippie sometimes quirky style, it ‘s a fresh look that combined rock chic and candy pop color fashion together , a style that we can’t really find it on Mary-Kate in usual days.

However, there is one thing on Mary-Kate which is very disconnected with whole look  —– YES, it is her purse!!! It looks like a fancy printed tropical bag to me but then it has the resort summer feel that I would bring it to the beach. Frankly the printed tropical bag doesn’t match the rock chic style or a candy pop color fashion on Mary-Kate! I guess most of you would have the same thought like mine :” Mary-Kate, where is your Alexander Wang studded bag ?? ”

Anyways, besides the Mary-Kate Olsen‘s new favorite Alexander Wang studded bag, I think among all fashion pieces in the Matthew Williamson For H&M collection, the blue studded belt is the fashion item that we love! Agree??
