Spotted! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge  - aka Kate Middleton was in Gossip Girl fashion! Ever since the engagement news was out,  from her causal wears to her wedding gown, every fashion magazine and blogs report Kate Middleton’s fashion style, Kate Middleton becomes the new fashion icon and her popularity keeps elevating by her fashion selection, case in point – in the ARK 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner in London, Kate Middleton was in the stunning Jenny Packham Spring 2011 evening gown which also appeared on Blair Wardolf  (Leighton Meester) in the popular TV drama Gossip Girl ( Gossip Girl Season 4 ” The Princesses and the Frog” )!

I have to say Kate made a smart choice by choosing this lovely princess sequined dress that embellished with Swarovski crystals. Teamed with LK Bennett Pink Rose Ribbon heels and simple hair style, with the slim figure, simple hairstyle and pleasant smile, Kate in fact channel this amazing dress way better then Blair in Gossip Girl!

Sarah Jessica Parker was rocking 3 different style of glamours dresses on the red carpet of Sex and the City 2 Premiere in New York, London and Tokyo! As Sarah Jesscia Parker implies ”You can’t hang your hat on fashion forever” , I do agree with Parker that the success of SATC isn’t just about the clothes, but too bad that fashion on SJP in movie premiere is definitely a talking point for most of us before watching it in the cinema!

Back on Sarah Jessica parker’s fashion, actually those 3 outfits are fantastic. Among the threes,  the Alexander McQueen 200 Spring lace bustier gown  in London Premiere, and the Vivenne Westwood 2010 Fall floral dress In Tokyo Premiere are very Carrie-esqe especially with dramatic and daring style like voluminous skirt, carrie’s style hair bun, glaring hat and accessories!

I like SJP especially opted for the Alexander McQueen 200 Spring lace bustier gown and McQ laced pump in London Premiere to deliver her tribute to her designer friend. But I adore the Vivenne Westwood 2010 Fall floral dress with Alexander McQueen skull clasp clutch in Tokyo Premiere cos it the most Carrie-esqe!

Grils from Sex And The City are back! Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall are on Marie Claire US June 2010 issue and those girls have their own cover like last time!

On the covers , Sarah Jessica Parker is in golden Balmain dress ( it’s dazzling and I love it! ), while Cynthia Nixon is in Christian Dior, Kim Cattrall is in Valentino and Kristin Davis is in Oscar de la Renta. Those clothing on the Sex and The City Girls look fabulous and I love them all !

I saw the Sarah Jessica Parker on Marie Claire 2010 June cover when I was doing my grocery shopping this sunday, I just “wowed”, grabed and bought the magazine for my sunday entertainment!

Like what Cynthia Nixon said “It’s been like a playland for the most beautiful clothes in the world.” in the Marie Claire interview, the girls are gonna show you stunning dresses and lovely heels, as well as sharing the filming stories and  their success of being the “icon” of the city girls.

We all know that the First Lady Michelle Obama is a new fashion icon, but her fashion choice not only elegant and pretty, she also shows sophistication, appropriateness and thoughtfulness. chose to wear a gleaming silver-sequined, nude-colored strapless silhouette gown by Naeem Khan to the first state dinner with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur.

Though Michelle Obama hasn’t choose to wear traditional sari-style dress which the India’s First Lady would wear, Michelle Obama makes a smart fashion choice and make herself standout by choosing a beautiful, well embellished with regal style  gown specially made and designed by the Indian-born, U.S.-based designer Naeem Khanseem, which is a very thoughtful and  appropriate selection to pay respect to the Indian political guest. Again Mrs. Obama ‘s fashion becomes not just a fashion issue, but a global talk !

The stack of bangle bracelets on her wrist and dangling earrings make her look so chic and Indian! With the beaning on the dress and beautiful floral embellishment, Michelle Obama looked radiant!

Naeem Khan told CNN’s Larry King that his goals were to dress the First Lady in something “Indian, chic, simple but very glamorous.”

In fact Naeem Khan is no stranger to helping women make a grand entrance; he has become a fixture on the Hollywood red-carpet circuit, dressing Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Katherine Heigl and even Queen Noor of Jordan. Mrs. Obama’s gown took three weeks at the designer’s family workshop in India — with 40 people working on it — to complete, Khan said.

No wonder she looks so perfect! A First Lady who knows how to use fashion with her wisdom to impress her people and the world , and bring fashion to a political level , I believe no one would doubt that Michelle Obama is ex-ordinary !
