Though Lauren Conrad placed a temporary break on her clothing line Lauren Conrad collection due to economic recession, and shifted her focus on launching her new book “L.A. Candy” , but that doesn’t mean Lauren is taking a break to stay trendy and fashionable. This blonde and ambitious in fact actively appears on red carpets and recently she did a Harper’s Bazaar shoot in West Hollywood (June 12) dressed in Moschino Fall 2009 jacket with silver embroidery, matched with her sun-kissed summer tanned skin and her all time favorite Chanel chained bag. Lauren also tried something new to surprise us – a brunette bob wig to bring out a freshness style! She really looked like another person indeed !

Rewind back to a week ago, When Lauren showed up on the red carpet of MTV Movie Awards 2009, Lauren also opted for a Moschino dress with red velvet flower appliqués with ruffles at the bottom trim which is also from Moschino Fall 2009 collection.

Seems Lauren loves Moschino very much and from what I see recently about her fashion choice, it looks like Lauren Conrad is more for the elegant classy mature style which may help to project her new image as an author / writer other than reality sweetheart! Personally I am expecting some summer fashion on this LA candy, cos isn’t too early to show off your autumn fashion trend in such lovely sunny summer?

In Gossip Girl, Blake Lively plays Serena van der Woodsen who is stylish city upper east side girl that always delivers riveting fashion style to audience. In real life, Blake Lively is also a fashion icon with sweet pretty face!

Last week, the Gossip Girl beauty Blake Lively appeared in The Late Show with David Letterman (March 24) with a fuchsia pink Diane von Furstenberg one shoulder dress. The dress is in 2009 spring and summer hottest color and Blake showed off her legs in Jimmy Choo’s gold snakeskin heels (snakeskin is also a hot fashion trend in 2009 Spring!). I always love the mix and match of fuchsia and gold in fashion and Blake delivers a stunning look with her great figure!

Rihanna completed the chic and bad girl denim style with a motorcycle grey leather gloves, nylon pink nails and aviator shades!

Kate Bosworth made a wonderful choice of wearing a sleeveless beaded dress from Alexander McQueen Resort 2009 Collection at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party! I love this beautiful beaded shift and she opted for a sleeveless one which is differed from the long sleeved one on Alexander McQueen Resort 2009 runway! The glimmering beads all over the dress adds a futuristic touch and yet Kate Bosworth brings out glamours with her elegant tied up hairdo.

Actually Alexander McQueen “Über-partying, über-glamour” theme on his 2009 Resort collection brings out a new idea of red carpet fashion. Making use of heavily beaded holographic sheath was inspired by the movie Species and to me, it is another great interpreation of futuristic theme after Cate Blanchett showed off the azure metallic futuristic dress from Balenciaga which is one of the Spring 2009 fashion trend! Anywways, this  Alexander McQueen beaded dress is an outstanding dress on sparkling actress and beauty like Kate Bosworth!

I have to say it is a gorgeous, uncompromising outfits which is so different from classic standard floor length red carpet gowns. This dress formed a great impact and makes people fallen for contemporary chic party dress! Love it  and LSandra would give two thumbs up for the whole look!

Couture 2009 runway show started and we can see all stars are showing off the latest couture fashion everywhere. Take Mischa Barton as an example, Mischa Barton was wearing an exquisite Elie Saab couture mint green gown with floral appliqués at the Fashion Dinner for Aids in Paris (Jan 30)

This gown was presented 2 days ago in Elie Saab Couture 2009 show and Mischa is the the first celeb wearing it.

The floral appliqués around the shoulders and bodice adds a touch of romance and fairy-tale element on the gown, along with single shoulder trend ( which Mischa did), which these two styles are the hottest fashion element for 2009 Spring and Summer fashion trend. One thing that Mischa Barton did very well is that she has taken this dress from an off-the-shoulder gown, to an asymmetric gown, with her own interpretation of asymmetric goddess sensation, accessorized with her own designed hair wear ( seems she made a little variation of her favorite gold leaf-shaped head band), she glows all the way and must be voted as the best dressed celeb this week.

I can’t wait to see the celebrities couture show on the Oscar Academy Awards’s Red Carpet! I will wait and see if any celebs make a come back of this Elie Saab gown on the Red Carpet and who’s gonna follow or beat Mischa Barton ’s style and interpretation!
