When the monotone striped items become the hot and key fashion item for spring and summer 2010, which means you can see it everywhere, but what can you do to color up and look chic and out standing with those striped clothing, perhaps you can find more ideas on Kate Moss, or go with your fashion instinct and do the color matching instead! Cos in fact when I saw the picture of Kate Moss wearing piped Chanel 2010 resort red jacket and striped top in Paris last week, I smiled and told myself ” wow, I did dress like Kate Moss in a month ago!”, while back in February when I spent the Valentine’s Day and CNY in New York, I already did the same matching , piped red jacket with striped skirt from Topshop, matched with Alexander McQueen Lips top and over knee boots, to show you how I did the matching, I included my style look at  MET in New York City in the picture above, well any comments are well accepted of course and I hope my readers also like my style as much as they like Kate Moss’s style!

So next time when you put on the striped top or skirt or pants , try to ditch the usual and dull black or dark color matching, give a warm touch on your outfit with the color like red, orange, pink …. make yourself colorfully chic and go with your indistinct! Birthday girl Blake Lively looks glamours in Kate Moss for Topshop sequin dress from spring and summer 2009 , and paired up with a Jimmy Choo, simple accessories and tied up hairdo , and makes a stop at the Tiffany & Co. and InStyle party before having her birthday dinner with co-star and lover Penn Badgley!

Ms Lively looks a bit tired at the Instyle event after her day on GG set , but still outshines in the Kate Moss for Topshop outfit especially on the photo with New York night scene ! I think Blake is more lovable and down to earth than any other young hollywood starlets! No wonder she was picked to be the first one on America who stepped in the first Topshop New York store!! Blake also expressed her love on Topshop on British Glamour Magazine earlier in August, so I am thinking, will Topshop consider Ms Blake Lively to be the US spokesperson or even launching a “Blake Lively for Topshop” fashion line later? Cos surely Blake will do her job very well, esp with her fashion influence on Gossip Girl, agree?

LSandra shopping tips: My dear New York readers, if you really like this Kate Moss for Topshop sequin dress on Blake Lively , I think I have seen it in New York Topshop store in Soho, among those sale track !!! You may need to try your luck and time to find it , the one I saw was in size 0 /2 track ( more than a week ago) , since it’s sales item and there are missing sequins on the dress, so I did’t pick this lovely dress in the end. Well try finding it on other tracks, maybe you can lucky enough to bring it home with a discount price!

The tartan and plaid trend keeps appearing on celebrities, but most celebrities like Mary-Kate Olsen, Lauren Conrad, Nicky Hilton and many others just play the tartan/plaid trend on their shirts. How about pants? Trendsetter Kate Moss shows you this year tartan and plaid trend can be presented on your pants too! Kate Moss rocks herself in a Balmain tight tartan pants which matched up with her male friend’s tartan jacket! Actually the Bohemian style has been there around in the celebrity circle for a while. Most say that it is Kate Moss who brought it up first and then Sienna Miller make it popular cos she got more publicity….. well I don’t think it’s a huge matter cos what matters is who can carry this Boho style in a nice way, right?!?
