Well the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival just ended and lots more music festivals and concerts are coming this summer, if you missed the chance to participate the H&M Coachella Twitter contest and enjoyed yourself in the Coachella, then surely you would not want to miss the launch of  H&M Fashion Against AIDS (FAA) Spring collection in May 20th 2010!

This is the third H&M Fashion Against AIDS 2010 collection and the FAA collection this year is more than celebrities endorsed T-shirt designs, it consists of stylish and hippic-chic fashion pieces with easy and edgy vibe with full-on artsy appeal . As the first festival collection, it connotes the global trend and message of freedom of expression and shared experiences. Festivals are an escape from the real world, where fashion can really come to the fore. It ’s built to mix and match –  a mix of rock with bohemia and glamour with added ethnic touches. Denim hotpants or patterned leggings are matched with embellished tunic tops, while maxi-dresses are toughened up when worn with leather jackets. Gladiator shoes, chunky bracelets, wide belts and beaded necklaces complete the look, while tribal print headphones give an extra twist – the collection is truly designed to take you from beginning to end of your concert stay, complete with sleeping bags, a tent, and cool headphones.

Among all, I have grouped all my favorites from the H&M Fashion Against AIDS 2010 collection in the picture above! I love the denim dress (USD 34.95) and the fringed tops (USD 29.95) most and the embellished jackets (USD 99.00)  and the leopard printed tunic (USD 24.95) are also on my wanted list! Sarah Jessica Parker is back …… in Christian Louboutin again? Yes she was spotted wearing gold glitering Christian Louboutin pigalle heels when filming ” Sex and the City 2″ previously and a day later Sarah Jessica Parker showed up as Carrie Bradshaw in Christian Louboutin Gino T-strap pumps from 2009 Spring collection and a pink Christian Louboutin Sylvia Drapey Hobo on set for the STC 2 with Mr. Big. Seems Carrie not only has a different relationship title with Mr. Big in “Sex and the City 2“, also the preference on her beloved choice of shoes!

Other than Louboutin, SJP was in a purple pleated dress in unknown brand and with floral necklace , which you can also find a similar floral corsage on Blair (Leighton Meester) in the coming Gossip Girl “Reversals of Fortune” scene.

I was quite surprised that after I dress up with the Matthew Williamson For H&M studded belt last friday night at the NBA launch Party in Hong Kong on April 24th, few days later on April 28th, Mary-Kate Olsen opted for the same choice at H&M Launch of the Matthew Williamson 2009 Spring Collection!

Mary-Kate also carried the same pick – the Matthew Williamson For H&M blue studded belt with one-shoulder asymmetrical dress!!!  Just that I love her style as she gives in her playful side by tigting up her  hair a bit and wearing a loose jacket in girly candy purple color to finish her look! Unlike her signature hippie sometimes quirky style, it ’s a fresh look that combined rock chic and candy pop color fashion together , a style that we can’t really find it on Mary-Kate in usual days.

However, there is one thing on Mary-Kate which is very disconnected with whole look  —– YES, it is her purse!!! It looks like a fancy printed tropical bag to me but then it has the resort summer feel that I would bring it to the beach. Frankly the printed tropical bag doesn’t match the rock chic style or a candy pop color fashion on Mary-Kate! I guess most of you would have the same thought like mine :” Mary-Kate, where is your Alexander Wang studded bag ?? ”

Anyways, besides the Mary-Kate Olsen’s new favorite Alexander Wang studded bag, I think among all fashion pieces in the Matthew Williamson For H&M collection, the blue studded belt is the fashion item that we love! Agree??

Haven’t talked about Rihanna’s style and fashion for a while …… But when it comes to her distinctive rock and chic style, along with one of my favorite design collection Preen and “shoes”, nothing can stop me to blog about this (tho’ I am exhausted with work) !  Rihanna shines all the way when attending the Verizon & BlackBerry Grammy Party at Boulevard 3 in LA last Friday, with a stylish electric blue Preen Dress, it is in prefect silhouette to show Rihanna curvey lines! Rihanna was absolutely gorgeous with this Preen electric blue body-con halter dress. Rihanna glamed up the pretty Preen dress with sparkling choker jewels, brunch of bangles which is the hottest accessories trend for Spring and Summer 2009!

How about shoes? This smart fashiontastic never misses her chance to show off her own rock chic style, she can also find a way to do that and for this Preen outfit, the “take a bow” sweetheart Rihanna puts on a pair of pretty eye catchy Rodarte high strappy platform heels. Actually this platform heels were designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte’s Spring Collection 2009, composed of a mélange of materials – with white, blue and black leather straps and metal chains on the platforms heels , this futuristic great looking shoes are just prefect to jazz up Rihanna’s style!

In the thanksgiving night, New York City Ballet’s opening night gala in Lincoln Center was packed with well dressed ballet lovers and celebrities like Scott Whitman and Valentino Garavani. Instead of standard red carpet gown, a LBD with sparkling details that Sarah Jessica Parker chose is a marvelous choice that made her glow in the crowd and wowed the audience before the show started.

The sparkling sequin-smothered sheaths on Sarah Jessica Parker is from Balmain 2009 Spring Collection. This little black dress, added with rock-chic element that brought freshness and break the original evening gown style, yet appropriate in such a black-tie event, is a fabulous choice to repersent SJP’s chic and focal dressing style, in fact I think I kind of see Carrie Bradshaw’s style again on Sarch Jessica with that Balmain sequin-smothered LBD. How about the shoes!? Every time when we talk about SJP or Carrie, we always talk about shoes!  This time Sarah Jessica made the futuristic call again by wearing the same Balenciaga point sliver shiny booties, and to finish the whole look, she opted for a very simple ballerina hair by pulling all her hair back to match the theme of this event!

Personally I love her outstanding choice on picking this Balmain LDB, and her sweet idea to match her hair style with the ballerina. Just one thing that may not get applause by some people is that the pull-back hair style may ruin the standard Carrie Bradshaw’s breezy hair that we always miss! Agree?
